Join host Kristin Oja DNP and guest Kathryn Robinson, the Founder of Nova discussing the findings of a pilot study conducted with STAT Wellnexx and Flourish, a non stimulant, weight management supplement.

Background: Flourish is a dual-mechanism weight-management and digestive-health supplement made from just four all-natural ingredients. No stimulants. No prescriptions. It’s formulated to help women achieve their body goals, find vitality and thrive in every part of their daily lives. In our pilot clinical trial with STAT Wellness, these were some of the most notable non-scale victories that improved women’s lives:

Bloating after meals: -64%

Body image anxiety: -63%

Cravings for sugar and carbs: -52%

Afternoon energy crashes: -59%

Food anxiety: -67%

In addition to the pilot clinical trial, Slendacor, its key metabolic compound, has 3 Gold-Standard Clinical Trials that demonstrated 12lb of weight loss and 2 lbs of muscle gain with 6x better results than diet and exercise alone. Download The NOVA(Verse)™ to get access to all of the resources Flourish’s trial participants had - and more! This is where you come to be fully supported on your wellness journey: from expert-developed guides, to a social community, and prompts and cards to empower your everyday. Your wellness is unique; you deserve a space that honors that.

In this solo episode of The Little By Podcast, Kristin Oja, DNP explores the biggest functional medicine, wellness, fitness, and longevity trends shaping 2026—and breaks down what’s actually worth paying attention to versus what may be overhyped.

From data-driven health and wearable technology to the rise of longevity clinics, biohacking, nervous system regulation, gut health innovations, and longevity-focused fitness, Kristin unpacks the science, the promise, and the limitations behind today’s most talked-about health trends.

Rather than chasing the latest wellness fads, Kristin brings the conversation back to what truly moves the needle for long-term health and vitality. She shares practical insights on how listeners can navigate the overwhelming wellness landscape and focus on the habits that matter most.

This episode is a reminder that while the wellness industry evolves quickly, the foundations of health remain timeless: strength, sleep, whole foods, stress regulation, and meaningful relationships.

Ultimately, longevity isn’t found in the newest supplement or biohack—it’s built little by little through consistent daily choices.

🫀 Did you know that 50% of heart attacks happen in people with normal cholesterol levels? That means traditional heart screenings often miss early warning signs—but the good news is, there’s so much more we can do to assess and prevent heart disease before it becomes life-threatening.

In this episode, I’m diving into:
✅ Why heart disease is still the #1 cause of death—and how we can prevent it
✅ The standard heart health tests most doctors run (and why they aren’t enough)
✅ The advanced lab markers that give a clearer picture of cardiovascular risk
✅ The difference between a CT Calcium Score vs. CT Angiogram and why I recommend one over the other
✅ How Cleerly’s AI-driven technology is revolutionizing heart disease prevention
✅ Lifestyle strategies to optimize your heart health starting today

💡 Key Takeaways:
80% of heart disease is preventable with early detection and lifestyle changes.

Standard cholesterol tests don’t tell the whole story—we need deeper testing like ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, and insulin markers.

A CT Angiogram with Cleerly analysis can detect and quantify soft plaque, which is critical for preventing heart attacks.

Small changes like nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and targeted supplements can significantly reduce your risk.

Meet Susan Payrovi, MD- a physician and patient living with MS. She got diagnosed shortly after the birth of her first child about 12 years ago. She was working as an anesthesiologist, working 100 hours a week. Eventually, after seeing four Neurologists, she got diagnosed with MS, and that immediately ended her career as an anesthesiologist.

So that led her on a journey of exploring what else she could do to improve her health. She realized as a physician, she actually didn’t know anything about how to increase her health. Like "what should I be eating? Should I be sleeping more? What else should I be focusing on in addition to the recommendations of my neurologist?" So she went and studied integrative medicine, functional medicine, mind-body medicine, acupuncture, and a few other things along the way.

During this episode, Dr. Payrovi is going to share some of her key findings and some tips and tricks for you to implement into your day to day routine whether you have an autoimmune process or not.

With over a decade dedicated to guiding hundreds of individuals in their journey to greater mental and spiritual health, Megan Broadhead ("Meg") stands at the forefront of a burgeoning movement. We're living in a time where 70% of Americans identify as "spiritual" beings, and there is a rapidly growing movement that embraces spiritual health or "soul health" alongside body and mind health. It's super exciting! And Meg’s role within this movement is to guide individuals in letting go of what no longer serves them - old beliefs, patterns, stories about who they are - and heal from their past, so that they can embrace their own incredible Divine power.

Meg loves helping individuals create purposeful, present lives built on a strong foundation of daily spiritual practices and a deep, embodied sense of trust. This is what her tagline "Make it Woo Woo" is all about.

From enneagram to overall mental wellbeing, you don't want to miss this episode. Dr. Jerome D. Lubbe is referred to as the “Patient Doctor” because it was his own quest for neurological well-being that led him to specialize in complex, unresolved neurological cases.

He exists to create spaces that guarantee people can feel safe and loved.

His practice explores how functional neurology, neuroplasticity, and tools like the Enneagram can improve wholistic well-being. Dr. Jerome created and released the first-ever neuroscience-based model of the Enneagram in his book, The Brain-Based Enneagram.

Being a functional neurologist has shown him that the healing we once thought was impossible is actually possible. Neuroplasticity tells us that we are capable of change. If we understand the function of the brain, we can improve our way of life.

Here are the research articles shared as it relates to vitamin C and histamine:
A small study in 89 people with allergies or infectious diseases showed that those who received a 7.5 gram IV (intravenous) infusion of vitamin C had about 50% less histamine in their blood

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23666445/

7.5-gram dose via IV was associated with a reduction in allergy symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, itching, restlessness, and sleep problems in 97% of people with allergies. Only 1 person out of 71 reported side effects

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6136002/

A high quality study also tested a vitamin C nasal spray in 60 people with allergy symptoms, including sneezing and runny nose. The study found it improved symptoms by 74%
